Greg Marchese, President
Greg's leadership in operational strategy and technology implementation provides underpinning for The Marchese Group's unique, blended offering. Greg's focus has been in process optimization and automation over the past 6 years and has contributed insight to both corporations seeking to build world-class operations and software providers seeking to enable process efficiency.

Greg began his career at Accenture where he assisted Pacific Telesis (now SBC) build one of the nation's first PCS mobile communications company. He then joined The Hackett Group where as a Principal he focused on back-office strategy and process reeingineering solutions for Fortune 500 companies. Clients included Goodyear, Eli Lilly, Sprint and Waste Management. In 1998 Greg joined KPMG/BearingPoint where he spent six years as a Managing Director building the bridge between operations and technology. Greg was instrumental in the development of the CFO Solutions practice, BearingPoint's Web Services offering, and process integration strategies. His clients included Qwest Communications, Sprint, SBC, Freddie Mac, JCPenney, and Clear Channel Communications. Greg founded The Marchese Group on the premise that link between strategy and deployment typically falls between traditional strategy firms and large Global Systems Integrators yet was imperative to achieve operational excellence.

Bill Krauss, Principal
A seventeen-year veteran of the technology, product development, and customer care industries, Bill brings both strategic and tactical experience to The Marchese Group and our clients. Bill's extensive management experience includes Business Process Integration, Operations, Service Delivery, e-Business, and the integration of emerging technologies in carrier-grade networks and distributed, multi-tier computing environments.

Bill has been involved in the design, development, and deployment of next-generation technologies as a leading executive at Fortune 500 companies. As Vice President of Qwest's e-Business group, Bill was responsible for developing and managing the primary on-line customer experience for this international broadband, ASP, Wireless, and LEC service provider. Before joining The Marchese Group, Bill developed a Communications Services Strategy for AVAYA, the global leader in VOIP and call center technology.

Brian Gardepe, Principal
Brian brings 29 years of enterprise software experience and global responsibilities with industry leaders Xerox, Apple, Digital Equipment and Toshiba to The Marchese Group. Over the past three decades he has had extensive experience running global teams with assignments in Europe, Asia, Latin America and North America as well as having been involved with the early development of the Indian software industry.

As founder and CTO of Harmony Software, Brian led engineering efforts that were awarded US Patents for ground breaking work in data warehouse and enterprise software technologies. He along with Harmony co-Founder Carla Gardepe, invented the company's innovative technology and jointly authored the company's core intellectual property patent. Brian was most recently Senior Vice President of Emerging Opportunities at Level 3 Communications, a Fortune 500 telecommunications carrier in Broomfield, Colorado. Brian led company programs in new ventures and strategic partnering opportunities across Level 3's Communications, Managed Services and Software businesses, including direct responsibility for Level 3's WiMax and Metro WiFi programs.

Carla Gardepe, Principal
Carla brings 30 years of operational strategy experience and executive leadership to The Marchese Group. Carla founded Harmony Software with Brian Gardepe and helped develop the innovative performance measurement technology suite and jointly authored the company's core intellectual property patent. Carla also founded Knewko Incorporated, an intellectual property valuation company that specialized in mazximizing the value of enterprise IP through patent portfolios and commercialization strategies.

Carla was most recently with Level 3 Communications where she led the Transport, Infrastructure and Access technology organization. She brings a special operational improvement expertise to The Marchese Group and has worked with many Fortune 500 multinational companies, including Syntex/Rouche Pharmaceuticals, Apple Computer, Caterpillar Tractor, and British Petroleum.
